Abstract.
Issue 1 held the law. Issue 2 is what the eye gets when the desk is honest:
EKKIE local NOW field on glass, free SPV as a separate lane (never folded into the field),
RAW BGF over HDMI from pure NASM under Desktop/x/Build/,
and Hostess 7 as the kit that keeps the toys in one hand.
Prose for humans — iron still lives only on the desk.

1 · DEMOS first · what you should see

Issue 2 opens with the picture, not the taxonomy. On the desk:

RAW BGF / EKKIE field — greyscale / cool full-color field, zero-set bright, far dark.
Labels upright — pure NASM bitmap font on glass (OCR-clean).
Free SPV — optional spice lane; never structure.
ESC quits · ~60fps vsync when present path is live.

2 · EKKIE · local NOW on glass

EKKIE is not optional vocabulary. It is the local NOW field — same iron as BGF:

WHOLE still speaks continuum. LOCAL digits speak the field. Neither cancels the other. On glass, EKKIE is what you are looking at when the present is honest.

3 · Hostess 7 · the kit

EKKIE has Hostess 7. Role scrap hostess · number scrap hostess7 returns live 7. The kit composes field toys without becoming the field. Issue 1 named the toys; Issue 2 lets Hostess 7 hold them for the demo.

4 · Free SPV · spice, not structure

Free exclusive-or stays free:

Salt · rng · spv · rdrand kin. Never folded into EKKIE field. Graceful combine is display-only: structure from field, chroma from free. That is the RTX contract on the desk: field in one out, free in another.

5 · RAW HDMI · pure .asm present

No C host for the present binary. Source is Desktop/x/Build/raw_hdmi.asm (NASM). Links SDL only as the window to the NVIDIA session → HDMI TV. fb0 is not the path. Labels name the field so the glass is not a mystery.

6 · Graceful combine · display only

graceful scrap: free never owns form. Field owns zero-set and isolines. Free weights mid-field shimmer. Luminance re-anchors to EKKIE so spice cannot flatten the world.

7 · RTX path · own GPU · no twin

This box: RTX 4070 Ti owns HDMI. Motherboard iGPU HDMI is not our present. Free SDF still runs without RTX; when HAVE, engage the bridge — do not decorate. Detect without Vulkan (PCI) lives under detect_rtx.

8 · CSS field · white shells

WordPress is not ASM. Nested radial shells above are free max on pixels — teaching aid. Iron proves on the desk. Browser is easy eyeballs.
